the method to affix CFRP to the surface of existing reinforced concrete structure was widely used in the strengthening field.Unfortunately
for the adhesive used in affixing CFRP is highly sensitive to temperature
this strengthening method was limited to a relatively narrow field. On the basis of the results of two experiments
the influence of temperature on the bond-slip behavior of interface between CFRP and concrete was studied in this paper. The functional mechanism of temperature on the bond-slip behavior was analyzed from the view of material properties to support the theoretical basis for the commentary. The results can throw light on the research of the mechanical behavior of CFRP-strengthened structure under room temperature and the fire-resisting behavior of strengthened concrete structure under high temperature.
