It is extremely difficult to lift and monitor large ancient building
in order to avoid cracking
numerical simulation analysis of its construction is necessary.Finite element models of Lao Da Hall in Nanjing museum consider the specifically unfavorable load conditions of the lifting
by using the different displacement-time histories to simulate the adverse conditions during the construction
and the numerical simulation analysis of Lao Da Hall′s construction is made with the maximum crack width as an index. The results are shown as follows: Lifting the building must be monitored strictly
and the harmfulness of displacement path difference is increased with displacement difference;applying displacement path difference by partition method can clearly determine the ability of resisting displacement difference;lifting monitoring must be partitioned based on structural rigidity;for the different structure rigidity regions
