In order to analyze the residual mechanical properties of concrete frame structures after fire
a novel numerical model based on fiber model is proposed in this paper.By dividing the cross section of members
such as beams and columns
into many concrete and steel fibers
this model can consider the non-uniform temperature distribution across the section
and also can consider the change of mechanical properties of fire-damaged materials.On the platform of ABAQUS Software
the further development is executed by using of the programming language of Python
and the model files created in SAP2000 Software are imported into ABAQUS.Thermal analysis and nonlinear mechanical analysis of concrete frame after fire based on fiber model are carried out in ABAQUS.A multi-story
multi-span three-dimensional concrete frame after fire is analyzed as an example and the mechanical responses of concrete frame after fire are analyzed.The calculation results provide a useful reference for evaluating the residual mechanical properties of concrete frame after fire.
