Pseudo-static analysis model of buried pipeline network under multiple-support seismic excitations is presented.Based on FEM model
the stiffness equation of buried pipeline network is established. Considering the spatial correlation of different ground motions and the non-uniformity of soil conditions
the simulation of ground motion field is introduced and the method of motion input on pipeline network is proposed. The validity of this model is proved then by theoretical solutions. Finally
a cross type pipeline network under seismic excitations is analyzed by this method
the result shows that:1)axial stress increases gradually along pipeline from the end to intersection of the two pipelines
and reaches peak value at intersection point;2)compared with axial stress
bending stress is much smaller
but abrupt changes appear at the end and intersection of the pipeline network. Therefore
it is necessary to analyze the pipeline network as a system under seismic excitations.
