Based on the seismic behavior of cast-in-place concrete structures and precast concrete structures
post-tensioned rocking shear wall with bottom slits was proposed in this paper.Seismic performance of the wall was studied with numerical simulation method and the effects of distribution mild reinforcement
post-tension level and axial-load level on the mechanical performance were also investigated. The study results indicated that although the strength of post-tensioned rocking shear walls decreases comparing with that of the normal shear walls
the proposed walls can achieve certain energy dissipation capacity. Furthermore
the walls can undergo large displacement with little damage and residual deformation
