The contact effect of interfaces between soil and structure on the seismic responses of underground structures has not attracted researchers’ enough attention as far
and the research results of this subject are seldom reported.In this paper
the analysis models of seismic responses of underground structures which take account of the contact nonlinearity phenomena of interfaces between soil and structure were established.Based on the contact surface pairs model and the analysis method of finite element of wave motion theory
the analysis model was solved with the software ANSYS.The results show that the contact effect of interfaces between soil and structure has significant influence on the seismic responses of underground structures
which may increase peak stress
peak displacement and peak acceleration of some underground structures nodes;with increase of the friction coefficient
the relative sliding of contact point decrease
while there is not apparent regularity for contact stress.
