The deposit depth of debris flow is one of the most important parameters in the evaluation and prevention of debris flow.So far

there is no better method for deposit depth calculation of debris flow with different densities.In this paper the characteristics of yield stress of debris flow was studied and a method was proposed for the yield stress calculation using area parameters and volume concentration of debris flow.Base on the analysis of yield stress of debris flow

the deposit depth of debris flow can be obtained.This method can be used for the calculation of deposit depth of debris flows with different densities in debris flow areas.This work provides a better tool for the evaluation and prevention of debris flows.
