Elastoplastic seismic response and strength failure analysis of Laoshan bicycle-gymnasium for the Olympic games are studied under multiple and simple support excitation.First the rule of elastoplastic seismic response is analyzed under two input modes
then some important parameters such as the utmost peak value of acceleration
time history of high-point displacement
the amount and distribution of elements under plastic
the deformation of shell in ruins are counted
analyzed and concluded.Under this
the rules of strength failure and seismic response about space lattice structure are obtained under multiple support excitations and simple support excitation.We should pay more attention to members which are near the supports because of their higher stresses under multiple support excitation compared with those under simple support.The destroy mode of displacement belongs to overflow type no matter what kind of input is concerned: multiple or simple support excitation.Namely
the structural displacements augment in short time and cause the structure to collapse.The plastic spreads more sufficiently and the internal force is more uniformity under multiple support excitations.And the more apparent of this phenomena
