Despite the detailed analysis and the valuable results obtained

the researches of the eccentric structural earthquake response influenced by many factors have not yet arrived at a consistent conclusion because of the coupling of these numerous factors

especially when the structure is in the inelastic response phase. Hence there are many difficulties to be faced in this field. In this paper the results of the influencing parameters and earthquake input are reviewed. Some issues are addressed and some opinions are put forward in this regard for further researches.
