殷世林. Precursory Abnormalities of Gas CO2 Escaped from Faults Before Human-Felt-Small-Earthquakes and Its Significance in Earthquake Prediction[J]. 2003, (3): 76-79.DOI:
The methods mainly used in China for observing gas CO2 escaped from faults are briefly introduced. The precursor characteristics and typical images are presented prior to 5 small earthquakes felt by humans in recent 4 years within the territory of Suzhou city
with their sensitivities and timespaceintensity behaviors being derived. The characteristics of gas CO2 escaped from faults are analysed including the occurrence time
the magnitude of abnormality and effective ranges
and their practical values to earthquake prediction are demonstrated.
