The RC structure receives the influence of the multifactor mechanism at the same time in the real environment

and the aging caused by it as well as the strengthening are the hot problems that researchers pay close attention to at all times. However

because of the complexity of these problems

they have not got very good settlement until now. The mechanisms of the influence for several kinds of the most common factors are analyzed deeply in this paper. Considering the correlation of the multifactor mechanism influences

the reliability of RC member is investigated using the system reliability method and an example is given for illustrating. The method is simple and convenient

and a reference method of calculating the reliability for the safety assessment and strengthening of the existing RC structure can be provided.
